Winding up his UK tour, which included an amazing homecoming show last week at Kingston's New Slang, DAVE HOUSE plays New Noise London, at The Borderline on Wednesday.

See That No One Else Escapes was at number 8 in the BBC 6 Music Chart this week and the great reviews keep coming.

Dave House

DAN POTTHAST is interviewed over at subba-cultcha.com this week. Following on from his brilliant UK shows earlier this month, Dan's currently on tour in the US. If you've still not got yourself a copy of Sweets, Meats and Eyeballs, click to order!

Jenny Owen Youngs

The DAVE HOUSE / JENNY OWEN YOUNGS super limited, oh-so-collectable, clear vinyl 10" is in good shops today. If you mail ordered from us, you will probably already have your copy and be fully aware of its greatness.

You can read our interview with Dave here. Jenny's interview is here. Each of them speaks about just what it's like to work with someone you've never met or spoken to... Dave's UK tour for the release of See That No One Else Escapes continues this week; check out Dave's excellent tour blog over at his MySpace.

Meanwhile Jenny is on tour in the US, where the re-issue of 'Batten The Hatches' has been making waves.

Preview tracks from the forthcoming TELLISON album this week are 'Henry Goes To Paris' and Disaster, Disaster'. Hurry along to the Tellison MySpace to listen. They made a reappearance as a recommended band on the MySpace Music frontpage last week and deservedly so. TELLISON are back in live action this summer, check the tour page for dates as they're confirmed.

Dave House

DAVE HOUSE is on tour to coincide with the release of See That No One Else Escapes. This afternoon there's a free instore at the magnificent Resident Records in Brighton, followed by shows around the country. Check the Tour page for details.

See That No One Else Escapes has been declared "thoughtful, honest and just plain pretty" by subba-cultcha and an "excellent second solo album... engaging, charming, and not even slightly sensationalist" by Rock Sound. Dave's super-limited and very collectable split 10" with Jenny Owen Youngs is out next week and pre-orderable from this very site.

This week's TELLISON album preview tracks are 'Ambulance' and 'Architects'. Head over to the Tellison MySpace to listen. 'Gallery' got an amazing response on XFM - John Kennedy played it twice last week and hopefully there'll be more to come.

Tellison

Surfing the ever-growing wave of well-deserved TELLISON appreciation, John Kennedy played 'Gallery' as his Hot One on XFM last night. Hooray, we say.

Marsha at XFM has also said lovely things about the record - she is a woman with excellent taste and you should subscribe to her weekly mailer, as you will find out about all sorts of brilliant bands.

This week's online previews from 'Contact! Contact!' are the all new album version of 'New York, New York, New York' and live favourite (aren't they all?) 'Amory'. Don't be so obvious... get thee to the Tellison MySpace.

Also this week, SATORI finish off their UK shows. If there's a show near you, don't think twice, get yourself down there - the current touring line-up includes Matt from Howard's Alias and legendary punk rock producer Peter Miles and they are shit hot. Fun times guaranteed.

All That Matters has been accompanying many a GDIP car journey over the last few weeks and we can confirm it's authentic bluebeat / lover's rock loveliness is the perfect accompaniment to a sunny day. Preview tracks via our last.fm player on the GDIP MySpace or indeed on last.fm.

All That Matters

DAVE HOUSE heads off on tour in a couple of days. This means that in the next couple of weeks, you should be attending a Dave House gig and most likely purchasing Dave House's new releases. But in the meantime, why not read our all new Dave House interview?

Contact! Contact!

The time has come... You can now pre-order the magnificent TELLISON album Contact! Contact!. Pre-orders will all come with some sort of bonus, along with the obvious bonus that you're supporting an indie label, an indie store AND an indie band in one easy transaction.

We really can't say enough good things about this record. It's fun without forgetting that the best songs are about more than just dancing; it's heart-breaking without collapsing under the weight of emo cliches.

Most importantly, it's the sort of record you find yourself wanting to listen to again as soon as the last strains of the final track have faded. We're massively proud to be putting it out and you'll be proud to have it in your record collection.

The new issue of ROCK SOUND features a two page spread on the design work of our very own "singer, songwriter, punk rocker, artist and designer" DAVE HOUSE. Very impressive it looks too - check it out by clicking here or on the photo.

MAC / Orko

In shops this week, the MAC / ORKO split 10". As Subba-Cultcha put it "...when it comes to great UK underground rock music, well, it goes arm in arm with MAC, and with Orko providing some jarring hooks and jagged riffs, you'd be a fool not to buy this". Yes. Consider yourselves told.

The 10" is super-limited, on white vinyl and includes two brand new MAC tracks, one brand new ORKO track plus a track from the excellent 'Creating Short Fiction' album.

Also in shops this week, the excellent DAN POTTHAST album. "Acoustic ska-pop - the first really nice surprise of 2007. A complete confounding of expectations in a quite brilliant way. Happy, bouncy pop music for happy bouncy people" said Subba-Cultcha.

Our UK release of Dan's two solo albums gives you 31 tracks for the price of a single album, including two tracks previously unreleased anywhere else. Perfect for the (alleged) impending start of summer.

Dan Potthast

There are two more tracks from the brilliant new TELLISON album online at their MySpace - this week you can hear 'Fire' and 'Tender Is The Night', with two new tracks to follow each Monday for the next couple of weeks. We can't over-emphasise the general wonder of this record, so make sure you check them out.
